Our History
The original church, Pleasant Grove was built in 1859. First Baptist Church of Hawthorne originated in 1883, and served the community until 2022, when we partnered with Countryside Baptist Church. The name changed to Lakeside Baptist Church of Hawthorne. It is our goal to build a school. From the very beginning, one of the foundational missions of this church has been to educate our children.
